When I was young, I had a very bad temper. I did something once which I am now very ashamed of. Tom, my older sister's fiancé, was in the army and every week my sister bought cigarettes for him which she kept in a drawer in her bedroom. One day I had a quarrel with my sister. Both my mother and father were out and my sister was looking after me. I wanted to stay up and watch television, but my sister insisted that I go to bed. I became so angry that I went to her bedroom with a pair of scissors and cut all the cigarettes into small pieces. My sister discovered what I had done and burst out crying. When my parents came home, my sister told them what I had done. My father asked me if my sister was telling the truth. I could not deny that I had cut up the cigarettes. I was severely punished and did not get any more pocket money until I had paid for the cigarettes.
